Wild Eyes Jumper

Happy Humpday everyone! I am SO GLAD that the week is halfway over. It has been an insanely busy week that is for sure and I can't wait for the weekend. Y'all, this is one of my favorite rompers EVER. I don't have many strapless rompers but this one definitely had to be in my closet.

My favorite part about this romper is the simple color scheme and the little tassels that go down both sides. It is just so so cute. It fits true to size, I am wearing a size small, and it is SO comfortable. I paired it with my new favorite block heel sandals and my favorite grey Kendra Scott earrings. By the way, these shoes that I am wearing with this romper are brand new to my Spring collection and they are one of my favorite purchases of the year so far.  They are true to size, very comfortable, and very good quality. They come in 3 colors; grey, which you see here, black, and brown. Trust me when I say that you need these in your closet too!

This romper would be perfect to wear to so many things. You could dress it down for a day time look or dress it up with heels like I did here. It's such a versatile look.

Kendra Scott Summer 2017 Launch Party

A couple of week ago I went to the Kendra Scott Summer 2017 Launch Party at SouthPark Mall in Charlotte with some of my blogger friends. We had the BEST time. The girls that I went with are Vanessa Krombeen (, Bess Carter (, and Bailey Schwartz ( They are all amazing girls with great style so make sure to go give them all a follow!

The launch party was so much fun. They had the entire SouthPark store decorated so beautifully and they provided the best appetizers, deserts, and cocktails. We all mingled, met with some of the Kendra Scott employees, and of course we shopped. My husband even stopped by for a little! :) Have you all seen the new Summer collection that Kendra Scott launched? If you haven't you should definitely check it out. They just came out with a bunch of new turquoise jewelry that is to die for!!!

What you see in the last picture is what I ended up buying that night. I ended up grabbing the Ellie Earring Studs, the Cooper Choker, and a beautiful ring that you can only get at the Kedra Scott Color Bar either in the store or online. I picked out the ring itself and then designed what color stone I wanted to go in it. I have been looking for a turquoise ring to wear for Summer so I went with the turquoise stone. I am obsessed with it! The best part about that night is that 20% of sales were going back to the The Junior League of Charlotte so everything was for a good cause. That made me feel even better about my purchases!

I hope you all have a great week. It is so rainy in Charlotte and I am already not looking forward to Monday. But I am throwing Vanessa and her finance's engagement party this weekend so I am really looking forward to that!

Sheer Bliss Dress

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I adored this dress from the second that I laid eyes on it. I think it would be so flattering on any body type. I also love how it comes in 2 different prints, this striped one that I am wearing and a floral one. I had a hard time deciding which one to pick.

I ended up going with the striped one just because I am obsessed with anything stripes these days. I decided to spice this dress up a little bit with this little suede wrap tie belt. When I put this belt with it, I felt like it completely MADE this outfit come together. I can't wait to wear the belt with so many other things. It would look great paired with cut off denim shorts and a crop top or bodysuit. You may see that look soon! ;)

There aren't many sizes left in this exact dress but I did link all I could find for you in stock above with the hyperlinks and below in the scrolling images. If you have any trouble finding your size please reach out to me and I can try and hunt one down for you. This dress is just so perfect for Summer and Spring and you really could wear it to so many things. It is a perfect day time look but you can also dress it up for a nighttime event by wearing it with heels like I did here. And I just loveeee the little off the shoulder sleeves. They are so so cute!

Did everyone have a great Easter? I hope so! My husband and I went to visit my mom in Spartanburg and it was so great seeing her. My parents are going through a divorce right now. It was the first time I had gone home and not seen both of my parents. It was hard but we really did have such a great time with her. I am so proud of how strong she has been during this whole process! I hope you all have a great rest of the week!

6 Months of Marriage

All Photography was done by Julia James Laible Photography

My husband and I celebrated 6 months of marriage this past week! Time has FLOWN by. I can't believe it's already been that long. It feels like just the other weekend we were getting ready for the big day. I thought to myself what a perfect time to write a blog post on the beauty of marriage and share some of the beautiful pictures from our wedding day.

For those of you who don't know, my husband and I met at work right out of college at a company called Insight Global. I never in a million years thought I would meet someone at work but I am so glad that I did! We got married a couple of years later in Raleigh, NC. We had our actual ceremony at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church and our reception at The Merrimon Wynne House. Unfortunately, Hurricane Matthew decided to come through Raleigh on the very day we got married and it was very stressful to say the least. The weather was way worse than we could have ever imagined. The power went out during the ceremony right after I walked down to the end of the aisle. We did have a lot of candles burning in the church so everyone said that it was a beautiful site to see. Luckily, we didn't lose power during the reception, so we had SO much fun at that. Everyone was so sick of the nasty weather which I think made everyone drink and have even that much more fun. We had to make the best of the situation after all. Even though the weather was definitely not what we expected or hoped for, we still ended up having a wonderful wedding and loved celebrating with our closest family and friends.

So 6 months of marriage has been absolutely wonderful. Cameron truly is my best friend and we have the most fun together. I can't wait to race home to him everyday after I get home from work. It is the best feeling to be married to someone who you truly enjoy being around. He is my biggest supporter and I am so thankful for that. He encourages me everyday to keep up with my blog and to only get better and better. Marriage is really no different for us than when we were engaged or just dating. We still enjoy all of the same things we used to do, we just get to wear pretty rings on our fingers now. ;) Since we got married, we did bring a new little face to the family. We got a rag doll kitten named Whiskey and we are seriously obsessed with him. It's actually kind of funny how obsessed with are with him. He is the best cat in the world. Pretty much acts like a dog. He has been the best addition to our little family.

Marriage is wonderful, amazing, hard at times, but the best gift that God has ever given me. I thank Him everyday for bringing Cameron into my life and for allowing us to love each other every single day of our lives. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of marriage! What a beautiful thing it is. So cheers to 6 months and a lifetime to go with my best friend-my husband.

Southern Charm Pebble

So I am not kidding when I say this is my favorite Show Me Your Mumu print of ALL TIME!!! I have to stop myself from buying it in everything. I actually just bought it in a dress to wear to my friend's engagement party coming up so you will definitely be seeing me in it again! Sorry ;)

The style of this top is one of my favorites. I love everything off the shoulder these days and this one from Mumu is no exception. I decided to pair it with my denim skirt to give it more of an edgier/boho look and I absolutely love the way it turned out. If you haven't jumped on the denim skirt band wagon yet you NEED to! They are fabulous and you can pair them with so many things. I love this print paired with these gold tassel earrings because it makes a subtle statement but also picks up that yellow color in the print.

Show Me Your Mumu is unfortunately pretty much sold out in this print for this top but I have linked others for you below that I love just as much. They are the same exact top, just different prints. My other favorite one is the Johnny and The Band Pebble Print. It is SO perfect for summer!

Hope you are having a good week! Only 2 more days until the weekend! What is everyone's Easter plans?? We will be going to Spartanburg, SC (where I'm from) to spend some time with my sweet mama.
