Blush Bodysuit

I wanted to share with you all a quote that has been near and dear to my heart lately. "Notice people who are happy for your happiness, and sad for your sadness. They're the ones who deserve special places in your heart". It is so easy to get caught up in everyday life that it is easy to lose focus on those who care about us the most. I want everyone to remember how special they are. We are all humans and we all make mistakes. The people who love us in our lows, well, those are the people who deserve to be with us at our best. Also, remember to look at those around you when things are going well in your life and remember who was truly happy for you. Those are the people who truly care about you. Hold onto those people tight.

Sorry for my little sappy moment but I just had to write some stuff that has been on my heart lately. Those of you that know me well know that I am a very heart felt person and I wear my emotions on my sleeve. It can be a good thing and a bad thing but most of all a good thing. When I love, I love very hard and I love very deep. And when I hurt, I feel those emotions the same.

On a different note, how absolutely amazing is this blush colored bodysuit?? I love how different it is. You don't see many bodysuits that look like this. Blush is my all time favorite color so that made me love it even more. I am so into denim skirts right now and I finally found a light colored one that I love so I decided to pair this bodysuit with that and I think the outfit looks perfect together. This look is something I would wear out with my girlfriends. It's the perfect amount of sexy and fun. I also love the baring back. I almost think this bodysuit would make the cutest one piece bathing suit if it were the right material. Am I right??

I hope everyone had an amazing start to the week!

Show Me Your Mumu Carousel Lace Up Dress

Happy Hump Day people!!! Yesterday was a rough one for me so I am so glad to have that done and over with. You know when you walk into the day only to find the most unexpected things happening? Yeah, I had one of those days yesterday. Only 3 more full days to go and then onto the weekend.

This Show Me Your Mumu dress is really making me want to go somewhere tropical. Anyone with me? I am obsessed with the different shades of green and the hot pink together. My favorite part of this particular dress is the lace up back. If you are a maxi dress fan, this print also comes in the most beautiful maxi dress. I linked that one for you too. It is sooooo perfect for your next vacation. I know that I have said this before but my favorite part about Show Me Your Mumu is how comfortable all of their clothes are. This dress is so stinking cute but it is also SO comfy. And it's loose enough to hide all of that good vacation food you are going to eat. ;) Who doesn't love a dress like that?

I decided to go neutral with most of my accessories with this look. I loved my taupe lace up sandals with this and my taupe suede purse. However, I did want to bring out that pop of pink with my tassel earrings. I feel like the pop of pink with the big earrings definitely makes this outfit even better. By the way, if you are looking for a good pair of tassel earrings, these Vanessa Mooney ones are the best!

Perfect 4th of July Look

I am sitting here once again wondering how in the world the weekend is already over. Seems to happen every Sunday now haha. How was everyone's weekend? We went to a wedding in Winston Salem and it was so much fun. It was a black tie wedding so it was a lot of fun to get dressed up for the night. The wedding was absolutely beautiful not to mention that the band was AMAZING. We had so much fun dancing the night away. Wedding season has officially begun for us. We have 12 more to go. It is going to be a very fun but BUSY rest of the year to say the least.

How cute is this red and white striped skirt paired with this ruffle top?? It is one of my favorite looks. This outfit is absolutely perfect to wear for the 4th of July. It will definitely be on repeat for me. Not to mention, the skirt and top are both really comfortable. Whatever your 4th of July plans are, this one is perfect for you. You can easily dress it down by wearing sandals too. I need Lovers + Friends to come out with this skirt in some other patterns and colors because I am obsessed!!

Hope you all have a great start to the week!

Sky Tie Dye Romper

If any of you know me well then you know that I loveeeee anything tie dye. I don't wear it very often but I am always drawn to it when I see it. This tie dye romper from Thirty One Boutique is my definition of the perfect tie dye piece. I love how the colors are very subtle and neutral. It is a tie dye pattern but it's not too much boldness in your face. I also love how this romper gives the look of a two piece set but it's actually just one piece. The lay over fabric on the top part of the romper is my favorite! Andddd it is only $38!

I decided to keep the accessories very neutral with this look. I paired it with my favorite taupe sandals and wore my brown leather clutch with it. I thought since this romper was strapless that it would look really great paired with a long necklace so I pulled out one of my favorite Kendra Scott necklace's.

Have y'all checked out Thirty One Boutique yet? If not then you need to. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite online boutiques. They have the most fashionable stuff at very affordable prices. Every time I look on their website I want everything. Make sure to check out all of their amazing new summer arrivals! I also have a little treat for you guys. Use code "katy10" at checkout for 10% off of your entire purchase! :)

Does anyone have big plans this weekend? We are going to a wedding in Winston Salem, NC. Wedding season has officially started for us and I couldn't be more excited!

Red Butterfly Top

I am currently sitting here not believing that it is Monday. Anyone else with me on that? This weekend FLEW by. I feel like that's how it always goes. This weekend we went to Greenville to visit some friends and had a blast. I am from Spartanburg, SC and have been to Greenville a ton but my husband had never been so it was fun to show him around my neck of the woods. We did some brewery hopping during the day and then at night we went and had dinner at this beautiful roof top restaurant that overlooked the city and then went out and had some drinks. I think my husband is ready for us to move to Greenville now hahaha. He absolutely loved it.

Y'all, this is one of my favorite outfits I have ever worn. I am so excited to share some more details with you. I love the color red on me and when I tried on this red butterfly top I was so in love. It has butterfly sleeps and a fun pattern. I love how it dips low in the front and ties at the waist. Since it does dip a little low in the front I decided to wear fashion tape with this top just in case and it worked perfectly. I am not sure if I have ever received as many compliments on a top before as I did when I wore this one. It is a little bit pricier but it is so worth it. Lovers & Friends always makes good quality stuff too. I paired this top with my favorite pair of dark cut off denim shorts and I felt like they went perfectly together. It would also look good with white denim as well. I can't wait to wear this look again.

Hope you all have a great rest of the week and survive the rest of Monday. We are half way there!
