Oh hey, Monday. We meet again. I am not going to lie, this past week in Charleston was one of the best trips I have had in a really long time. I normally get homesick when I am away from home for more than a few days but this trip was totally different. I had an absolute blast. The first half of the week was spent with my blogger babes Ashley (@ashleybeary) and Jamie (@charlestonblonde). It was the first time I had met Jamie in person and meeting her was such a breathe of fresh air. It felt like all 3 of us had known each other for years. We all just had that instant connection that you hope to find with people. We had very real, vulnerable conversations and got to know each other on such a deep level. If you know me at all then you know that I crave these types of friendships. I could sit around and just talk about life and struggles and ups and downs for hours with my friends. I am also an open book so I very easily tell my story to people. It was nice to be surrounded by 2 girls who are the exact same way. I know that after this trip we have all cultivated new lifetime friendships and Ashley and I are already planning our next trip back to Charleston to visit Jamie.

The rest of my week in Charleston was spent with my best friends from college as we celebrated our girl Caitlin’s Bachelorette. I have talked about Caitlin briefly in a blog post before but she truly is the most amazing friend I have ever had. She is so genuine, so down to earth, so loving, and so forgiving. We had a falling out in college and came back stronger than ever and I will forever cherish our friendship. It is one of those that could never be broken. To say that Caitlin is the most chill bride is an understatement. She was so go with the flow all weekend and we truly had the best time. I can’t stop reliving the weekend and thinking what an amazing time we all had. My favorite part was probably the last night when we got picked up from dinner by a party limo. Seeing Caitlin’s face light up when she saw the limo was the best part! We drove around Charleston for a few hours after that and stopped at any bars we wanted to. It felt like we were in Vegas in the limo with all of the lights, champagne, and music. It was soooo much fun.

Now that I am back in Charlotte I wanted to share with you all my new favorite dress. I found this dress originally at Revolve and instantly knew I had to have it. Unfortunately it sold out at Revolve within a couple of days but I found it at another retailer and also linked the same dress in a different print. As you all know, mesh is so in right now and this dress is one of the most flattering mesh dresses I have seen so far. I love the floral pattern and how it has the black slip underneath it. It’s also just so comfortable to wear. I decided to pair this with my suede black booties to keep the outfit looking simple and effortless. If any of you are concerned about sizing, I ordered the size Small and it fits perfectly!

I hope you all have a great start to your week!

XOXO
