Fall with Red Dress Boutique

It's finally Friday!!! This week has been so dreary and rainy in Charlotte which has been depressing and has made it really hard to get any blogging pictures done. But thank God it is supposed to clear up today and next week looks much better. We will actually see some sun!

So as a lot of you know, I was in Athens, GA all last week working with one of my favorite boutiques, Red Dress Boutique. They asked me a couple of months ago if I wanted to come down to visit them, do some styled shoots, take a tour of their warehouse, and be featured as their next "Style Influencer" and of course I was SO excited and had to say yes. You don't get very many opportunities to actually meet people in person who work at your favorite companies or boutiques so this was an opportunity that I was not going to turn down. I ended up having the best time. The girls that work there and Diana, the owner and CEO, are absolutely fantastic. They made me feel so at home and I immediately felt like I had known them for years. Touring the warehouse was such a fun experience. It is insane how many moving parts there are to make a large boutique like this work. There were departments that I never even knew existed and you wouldn't believe all of the racks of CLOTHES. I was in pure Heaven. :) One of my favorite parts of the whole trip was when I was able to go around the entire warehouse and pick out anything that I wanted to take pictures in. We did styled shoots in the studio as well as out and about outside around Athens. I did some Instagram story try on sessions yesterday for all of my favorite clothes from my trip. I hope you all loved those as much as I did. I would also love for you to check out my Style Influencer page on their website when you get a chance. If you go to their website, click on "What's New", go to where it says "Style Influencer", and you will see my name (Katy Harrell). Click there and you will see my bio and all of my favorite styled clothing from the shoots that we did and all of my other favorite clothes from the website.

One of my favorite looks was this green off the shoulder sweater that you see here. I just love off the shoulder sweaters for Fall and I think this one is just perfect, not to mention that the color is absolutely gorgeous. We paired it with these distressed skinny jeans and these taupe over the knee boots which also come in other colors including grey and black. Side note, these boots are actually really amazing and stay on your leg because they tie at the back. I love the Stuart Weitzman ones that I have but these are a close second and the price is absolutely amazing. You definitely should invest in a pair. Of course, we had to top off this look with my favorite cheetah print clutch. I use this clutch ALL the time and I think it looked absolutely perfect with this whole look. This outfit just screams Fall and I couldn't love it more. It is comfy yet sexy, simple yet chic. You need it in your closet. ;)

This weekend my best friend Caitlin gets married and my heart is so, so happy. Caitlin has a been a dear friend of mine for a decade and she is one of the most amazing friends I have ever had. Her soon to be husband is just as wonderful. I am so thrilled that they found each other and I am so excited to stand by her side this weekend on the biggest, most exciting day of her life. There is nothing quite like seeing one of your best friend's marry her best friend!

XOXO,
Katy
