I just got back from Miami yesterday and I have been soooo tired. Spent the last 24 hours basically resting and catching up on sleep. But now it is time to get back into the grind and I am so excited to write another blog post and check in with you guys again. Miami was absolutely amazing. Once we get the pictures back I will do a blog recap off our entire trip. Let’s just say I am totally in love with Miami now and don’t understand why I don’t live there haha!

I hope that everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. Whether you spent it with your significant other or your best girlfriends, the day is still a great day to celebrate the people that you love in your life. My husband and I are planning on really celebrating Valentine’s Day this weekend since I was gone most of the day yesterday but he did surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of roses and the sweetest card. I was traveling all day but I spent a lot of time on the airplane thinking about the true meaning of love. I opened my bible and started reading 1 Corinthians 13 and really tried to think about every single thing that the bible verse talks about.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Wow, when you really think about everything in that verse it is incredible. Think about everyone that you have loved in your life. Have you always loved in the kind of way that the bible calls us to love? Probably not. I know that I haven’t. This verse really made me realize that I need to start loving people around me more and loving them the way God calls us to love. I know that a lot of the times I am not patient, I am easily angered, and in our day and age we all struggle with being envious of others, being self-seeking and keeping records of wrongs. In a way, it is what the world teaches us to do. “Oh that person hurt you? Screw them. Get revenge. Never forgive them. They hurt you”. How many times in your life have you felt like that? Probably a lot and so have I. But that is NOT the right thing to do and God calls us to do everything but that. God wants us to love others how He loves us. I love the last line in the verse: love never fails. If we truly love every single person the way God calls us to love, our relationships with people would never fail. That is something incredible to think about. After all of the time I had to reflect yesterday, I am really going to try and focus on the true meaning of love and loving my friends, family and husband the way 1 Corinthians calls us to do. I hope that you will do the same.

On another note, I have been wanting a corduroy jumper for the longest time and finally got this pink one from Pineapple Collective Boutique. To say I am in love with it is an understatement. It is way TOO CUTE. This jumper is a perfect way to transition into warmer Spring weather. You can wear it with a long sleeve shirt like I did now and then when it gets warmer outside you can easily wear it with a short sleeve top or even a tank top. I also love how the jumper has 2 cute little pockets in the back and buttons in the front. This has to be one of my favorite new outfits. I am wearing the size small for reference. If pink isn’t your color, I linked some other colors above and below. Remember that you can use code MUMU20 to receive 20% off of your order at Pineapple Collective
