If you watch my Instagram stories then most of you have already heard me talk about the amazing Hair Botox Treatment. This is an amazing treatment for your hair and I seriously can’t say enough good things about it. Crystle from Vain and Luxe CLT is the one who recently did this treatment on my hair and I don’t think I could ever live without it. So what is a hair botox treatment?
A hair botox treatment is sort of like a keratin treatment but even better. It is a treatment that restores every strand of hair and targets damage from the inside out to bring dull, over-processed hair back to life. The advanced technology in the treatment replenishes depleted hair proteins to restore softness and shine, while a blend of natural acids work to smooth and nourish even the most coarse or resistant hair. Hair stays shiny, silky and healthy looking for up to 12 weeks. It can also be used on any hair type.
Why do I love the hair treatment so much?
I love this hair treatment so much because of the amazing results that I have seen afterwards. Crystle did this hair treatment on me right before my husband and I left for our Disney trip. I have been to Disney many times before in the Summer and my hair is usually so frizzy and wavy from all of the humidity. This time when we went my hair stayed perfectly STRAIGHT the entire time and I was seriously amazed. You can tell from the picture of my husband and I above. This hair was still straight after a day of riding rides all day in the humid heat of Florida. So if you are someone who has a hard time getting your hair not to frizz then this treatment is perfect for you. It works great in humidity and also just helps to keep your hair less frizzy in general.
I also love it because it reduced my drying time by half. It normally takes me forever to dry my hair but after this treatment I swear it only takes me between 5-10 minutes. It’s insane the difference. Also, my hair drys much straighter and I don’t have to use as much heat on it to straighten it after blow drying which has also been amazing. It has helped me put less heat on my hair which in return has helped my hair be healthier.
My hair has also never been softer or shinier. It just looks and feels SO healthy. I had a lot of heat damage on my hair and I can tell a tremendous difference in the quality of my hair after Crystle did this treatment. It really seems like my hair is brand new.
You can also still curl your hair with this treatment. I left my hair straight the entire time we were in Disney but I have been curling my hair ever since we got back and my curls are even better than they were before. They don’t get as frizzy, they are bouncier and shinier, and they last for days. This treatment has definitely helped my curls look even better than they did before.
What is the process like?
The process is actually really easy. Crystle just simple puts the treatment all of your hair. It almost feels like she is putting a good conditioner treatment on your hair. After the treatment is all over your hair you have to wait about an hour for it to set in. Then she just simply rinses your hair, drys it, and then she straightens your hair which helps to set the treatment in. The great thing about the treatment compared to similar keratin treatments is that you don’t have to wait a long time to wash or style your hair again. I woke up the next day, took a shower, and was able to curl my hair for a photoshoot. The after care is SO easy. I also make sure to use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to keep the treatment lasting longer.
I seriously can’t recommend this hair treatment enough! I honestly don’t know if I could live without it especially after seeing how less frizzy my hair is and how quickly it dries. It has been a life saver!
