Neutrals For the Win

Beige Braided Detail Sweater  Similar here (I also love this one) // White Skinny Jeans  Similar here and here // Kendra Scott Elle Drop Earrings in Maroon  // Vince Camuto Peep Toe Booties  // Taupe Clutch

One of my favorite new looks is an all neutral outfit. There is just something I love about light neutrals paired together. It gives such a clean, crisp look. Remember that stupid rule that you can’t wear white after labor day?? Well that rule definitely does not exist anymore (at least not to me) and you will be seeing me wear white jeans all year long. I especially love them in the Fall paired with a slouchy sweater like this one from Dottie Couture Boutique. How cute is this sweater?? I obviously love the color but I really love the braid details on the side and wearing it off the shoulder makes for a perfect look.

Dottie Couture is almost sold out of this sweater (it went SO fast!). But I linked some of my other favorite sweaters from Dottie for you above. I love these sweaters just as much and they all look very similar and are in the same color palette. You all really need to check out all of their Fall New Arrivals. They get the cutest stuff in every single day and things sell out fast so make sure to keep checking and if you find something you like to go ahead and grab it. You can also use code “mumu20” at checkout to get 20% off of your order. 🙂

The last post I wrote on Sunday night said that I would come back to a bible verse that I left you with. It was 2 Corinthians 1:6-11 and it says “You may feel helpless but you’re not hopeless”. This verse means a lot to me right now as I have been feeling very hopeless lately. I heard some things in particular from this past weekend that left me feeling very empty inside. You know that feeling when someone tells you something and all of a sudden you feel like you’ve been hit in the gut and can barely breathe? Yeah, that was the feeling I got. That feeling of helplessness carried on into the rest of the night and even into the entire next day. I know we all have days, weeks, even months like this. I won’t always understand the things people do or say but I can say that I have hope for the future. I have hope that one day things will get better. I have hope that one day everyone will forgive everyone and that wrongs will be made right. I have hope that one day all of this pain will go away and everything will make sense. And most importantly, I have hope that all things work for the goodness of God and that everything happens for a reason. So although I was left feeling very helpless this past weekend, I did not lose my hope. My hope that the future will be brighter and that God is in control is what keeps me going strong.

XOXO
