My Olay Retinol 24 Review!

Serum: Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Serum

Hey! If you follow me already on Instagram then you’ve probably already seen my post on the new product releases from Olay! It’s always nice to try new things ! The product I’m sharing about will be linked in this post, if you’d like to check it out for yourself! Let’s dive into the new and what I’m liking about it!

First, let’s talk retinol! What is it? Some of you may not know. Made from vitamin A, it is usually added to creams that go onto your skin. Retinol helps to boost the amount of collagen your body makes and plumps out skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also known to improve the skin tone and color and reduce mottled patches. Common concerns that some people may worry about when it comes to retinol is the possibility of dryness and/or irritation. But luckily for me, Olay’s new product didn’t produce either or those results. It’s been nothing but great!

After my usual makeup removal and face wash routine, I like to apply the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Serum. It was recommended to use the product daily for best results, so that’s exactly what I did! I like to use this after applying my moisturizer to help lock in that moisture since oils are known to be great sealants. This is another fragrance-free product, which is great! This acts similarly to the moisturizer in that it will deliver just as great of results for your face.

I have been using this serum for the past 4 weeks and I’ve experienced very little to no irritation. I’ve also noticed that my skin became visibly smoother and brighter! Those are both wins in my book! Retinol, as well as all of this new Olay product, is really great for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing, brightening, minimizing pores, and evening the tone of your skin. If any of these are problem areas for you when it comes to your skin, then I highly recommend you giving this product a try!

If you guys have any questions about anything I mentioned then please let me know in the comments below! Thanks so much to Olay for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

XOXO,

Katy

Love your review! The serum was my favorite too! But you should actually do serum and THEN moisturizer. It helps lock in all the ingredients and unless it’s a hydrating serum, probably dries out what you just moisturized!
